OUR COOKBOOK IS HERE!

The Life, Soul & Tastes of Italian Home Cooking

Much more than a cookbook, Appetito is an intimate collection of photography and food stories that takes you to a land where tradition and tastes are cherished.

This debut publication of Mangia Mangia's favourites includes family meals guided by the seasons, recipes handed down through generations, and techniques gathered from every corner of Italy. This is true Italian in all its beautiful simplicity -- perfect for those who seek out the soul in good food. Buon Appetito.

A Celebration of Ingredients

Food that follows the seasons in line with nature's flavours. Celebrate pumpkin in autumn and asparagus in spring with homemade Italian dishes from our kitchen.

Frosty mornings and dark afternoons mean warm, bold flavours for your table. Get cosy with our zucchini and saffron risotto this winter.

Zucchini and Safron Risotto

DIVERSE ITALY

Every Region is Unique

Subtle changes in flavours and ingredients are the base of Italy's variety in regional recipes. In Naples, warm Meditteranean sun ripens oranges and lemons; in Venice, seafood is tasty and salty from the lagoon; Rome's flavours are bold like her history and Alto Adige's dairy cows feed on green Alpine pastures producing rich, creamy milk and mountain cheeses.
Focaccia from Bari in Puglia is made with potato as a traditional recipe. We support local Pipe Place Potatoes with produce fresh from the farm.
